It's a Girl....or Boy!
For those of you checking, we had our ultrasound appt this morning. When I went in I followed the directions they have posted all over the office that if you have aetna (insurance) that you need to fill out some paperwork....So I went to the business office and she pulls out a paper for me to sign that says that Aetna does not cover the 20 week ultra sound and if I still wanted to proceed the I needed to pay the business office $410, the cost of the ultrasound. I found out that even though my insurance had told me that they do cover the 20 week ultrasound, the office said that they would not pay it because of how they code it and it was not possible to change the coding...???? lol! So, I opted to not pay them the $410! Then I got to wait for an hour to see the doctor....fun morning!

oh no!!! When you come here my dr office will do a 3d ultasound with a video and all that stuff for $150...if you want! I think your dr's office is screwy! They can bill whatever codes they want so to say they can't change it is a crock!!! I'm surprised dr saunders is ok with that since the 20 weeks is to check development and is pretty medically necessary!
