Christmas 2007

Christmas was wonderful this year...it is true that as your kids get older it gets more fun. This was the first year that we had a child that couldn't fall asleep...Savhannah finally fell asleep around 1:00 a.m. The kids did't wake up until 7:00, which was good for Mike and I who didn't get to bed until 1:30! Following tradition, we came upstairs and the kids all got their "Big Gift" (unwrapped present from Santa)and checked out what was in their stockings. Then we all had breakfast (rhodes orange rolls I had set out to rise the night before, and, of course, cereal and hot chocolate from the stocking). Brandon got a racetrack for his "Big Gift" which took both Mike and I a good 45 minutes to set up(I know, we are getting old:)). So we didnt even get started with opening presents until 9:30...and we took our time. When Grandma and Grandpas came over at noon we had just finished up. I say Grandma and Grandpas because they both came over within 5 minutes of each other...HOW LUCKY ARE WE??? Anyway here are the pictures. I had to use this song because it is my kids favorite song this season....who knew they would like WHAM! But this is even better because it is sung by Ashley Tisdale...Sharpay! I am not the best photographer...so make the best of it! LOL!
